Lucca and Pisa are two of the most important historical towns in Tuscany and are not-to-be-missed venues for tourists visiting the region. In this tour you will be enveloped by the history and traditions of the two Tuscan cities that are close in proximity yet, very different in personality. A charming Tuscan landscape will be the frame to your day, spent relaxingly in the company of our authorised guides.
In Pisa you will enjoy a guided tour which will allow you to see the most important monuments: the famous Piazza dei Miracoli with the Leaning Tower, Baptistery, Cemetery and cathedral (visit inside included).
The tour then continues to Lucca where you will have free time for lunch upon your arrival. A distinctive city of art and Renaissance style, lucca is found along the road that leads to florence from the coast. The walls that enclose the city are also sights unto themselves, punctuated by beautiful gates and ramparts. You will be free to take pleasant walk along a section of these walls, where you will enjoy a beautiful view of the city's roofs, alleys, house-towers, churches and marvelous noble palazzos. You will then move to the old town centre to see Piazza Anfiteatro, the Giunigi tower, St. Martin's Cathedral and the typical Street of the Antiques shops.
Return to Florence in the evening.
