( 1 ) GUIDED COACH TOURS of FLORENCE
These tours are ideal for discovering Florence and the surrounding hills.
Our comfortable coaches take visitors along the most important and panoramic roads of the city and its immediate surroundings.
Short walks allow visitors to reach the most celebrated monuments in the historic centre, which cannot be reached by tourist buses.
Tours do not operate on 25 December and 1 January

1.a Visit of Florence: morning
Terminal: Piazza Stazione, at the corner with Piazza dell'Unità

Drive along the romantic Viale dei Colli up to Piazzale Michelangelo: a stop to admire the wonderful panorama of the city, one of the most beautiful in the world. The tour will proceed by coach through the old city centre. Then walking guided visit of the outdoor Duomo complex: the Baptistery with its bronze doors including the famous Porta del Paradiso and the visit of the Cathedral with the magni ficent Cupola del Brunelleschi and Giotto’s bell tower. A short walk through the historic streets of the heart of Florence brings you to the renowned Galleria dell’Accademia* where you can admire the famous David by Michelangelo and other works by the great artist. End of the tour inside the museum.

A fine coach tour offering panoramic views of the unparalleled beauty of Florence, taking in Fiesole, a delightful town of Etruscan origin set on the hills overlooking Florence and the Arno Valley. The tour continues to the old city centre for a visit to the Franciscan Church of Santa Croce (exterior). A short walk through the historic streets of the heart of Florence brings you to the famous Piazza Signoria, where you can admire the imposing Palazzo Vecchio (exterior) and the beautiful Loggia del Lanzi. The tour continues with a guided tour of the famous Galleria degli Uffizi* where you can admire the superb paintings of Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio. End of the Tour inside the museum.
The Gallery is closed on Monday replaced with the Museum of Palazzo Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria.

It is an easy promenade guided by an experienced multilingual Guide through the most charming and famous sites of the city which cannot be reached by tourist buses. An unforgettable itinerary among the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, art and history, culture and curiosity in the ancient civil and religious heart of the old city centre.

2.a Medieval and Renaissance Florence complete Walking Tour: morning

The most complete and thrilling guided walking tour starts from the peculiar Central market zone, characterised by its workshops and multicoloured stalls, where the Medici Chapels, and Basilica di S. Lorenzo, the church of Medici’s Family, are located.
In a short time you can reach Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire the Cathedral* (inside visit) and its dome by Brunelleschi, the bell-tower by Giotto, Saint John Baptistery with its Paradise Door.
The tour continues by visiting the medieval quarters where Dante Alighieri and Beatrice lived.
Further on you can find Palazzo del Bargello. Not too far, there is Piazza della Signoria, a great “open-air sculpture museum”, overlooked by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio.
Next to it the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museum all over the world.
Then you proceed to the picturesque Mercato della Paglia (Straw market), where the famous Piglet Fountain is located.
You walk along the street that leads to Ponte Vecchio, the “jewels bridge”.
By crossing the bridge, you will reach the wonderful Pitti Palace where our tour ends.

2.b Concert and Dinner in the heart of Florence

An evening in genuine Italian style, devoted to discovering Tuscan cuisine and the most celebrated Italian opera arias and famous Neapolitan songs. Our assistant will take you into an ancient and fascinating neighbourhood in the old city centre. In a characteristic restaurant, you will be served a typical Tuscan dinner with excellent Chianti wine. Talented singers will be awaiting you after dinner in an intimate, old setting (the Anglican church), to perform the most beautiful arias from the operas of Puccini, Verdi, Rossini and other renowned Italian composers, in addition to worldfamous Neapolitan songs. You will be reserved frontrow seats so you can enjoy this absorbing spectacle to the full. During the intermission, tea or coffee together with a piece of cake or a goblet of very good wine will be served (they are included in the price).

2.c Dinner and Opera in the heart of Florence

Experience an unforgettable renaissance evening in the magnificent setting of the ancient halls of a noble residence.
You will be involved in the typical atmosphere of a Florentine fifteenth century banquet gladdened by the sound of a harp and flute, the sweet voice of a soprano and dances of the period.
Waiters, musicians, dancers and the jester, all in beautiful Renaissance costumes will make you feel part of the evening.
If you wish, you can also try their typical costumes and learn some fifteenth century dancing steps.
At the end of the evening, that will have a duration of around two hours, each guest will receive a personalised parchment with the emblem of the palace to certify the participation in this magical "Ancient Night at Court".

Discover with our Guide the part of the historical centre where it is still possible to imagine the life of Florence in the fourteenth century with the kiosks selling the old and tasty “street food” like wine and tripe that is very appreciated by the Florentines even today.
An itinerant adventure among flavours of wine and typical foods like "trippa" and "lampredotto", "panino con il Peposo", "crostini fiorentini", "pappa al pomodoro", "ribollita" and "coccoli fritti", in the heart of the medieval tower-houses quarter.
You will visit the stunning Church of Orsanmichele, with the wonderful tabernacle of Orcagna, a Florentine Gothic masterpiece.
You will learn how the level of civilization of this city has been expressed, since the Middle Ages, even by the enthusiasm of charitable not-clerical Confraternities of whom we will admire the premises, like Misericordia (the oldest in the world dating back to 1224) and Buonuomini (1442) that are still involved in charity and helping people in need.
You will discover, in front of the ancient Church of the Badia Fiorentina (978), the Home of Dante Alighieri, the great poet of the Divine Comedy, and the church where Dante met Beatrice and where she is buried.
Then you will see the ancient towers, like Pagliazza, uncommonly circular, and you will arrive through narrow and characteristic streets in Piazza del Duomo.
This will be the end of your walk to the discovery of taste, art and culture of the city, mostly off the beaten routes of mass tourism.

Total immersion in the art of Michelangelo to know his most renowned work, the “David”, and other important works of art such as ''I Prigioni'' and ''San Matteo'' and the “Palestrina Pietà”.
The young Michelangelo carved the David from a huge block of rough marble in three years, creating an imposing sculpture of absolute beauty, an icon of the renaissance model.
He depicted a magnificent nude young man at the height of his physical vigour, whose intense expression of strength and courage, which originated from an absolute faith in God, roses as a symbol of power and invincibility of the Florentine Republic at the time of its maximum splendour.
