Driving and parking in this medieval town with very narrow streets is mainly restricted to residents. You can, however and hardly, drive to the hotel (just to unload bags and with proof of your booking with us ready to show to the Police in case the stop you) by following the direction shown on the map below.
We strongly suggest to drive directly to the Garage and than walk to the Hotel (around 150meters distance). Click here to be redirected.

Coming from France, Genova, Cinque Terre, Pisa , Viareggio
Take autostrada A11 to Florence until you get close to the city. Exit A11 to get onto A1 towards Roma/Milano. In a short distance the road splits - Follow signs to Roma until you find the exit called FIRENZE IMPRUNETA (old name FIRENZE CERTOSA) then follow our detailed instructions to the hotel.

Coming from Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra
Take the freeway Siena-Florence until it ends at a roundabout/traffic circle. Then follow our detailed instructions to the hotel.

Coming from Milano, Bologna, Lake Como, Venezia, Roma
Stay on the autostrada until you find the exit called FIRENZE IMPRUNETA (old name FIRENZE CERTOSA) then follow our detailed instructions to the hotel.

We recommend this exit because it is the most direct and easy route to the hotel. When you are at the roundabout/traffic circle, follow the directions through FIRENZE CENTRO and PIAZZALE MICHELANGELO and drive for about 2 kilometres (1,2 miles) until you will find a yellow sign pointing the direction to Piazzale Michelangelo. Once you arrive at the Piazzale Michelangelo, a splendid big terrace overviewing the city, you have to continue driving downhill along the tree-lined avenue until you find the second traffic light. Go straight ahead through Piazza Ferrucci and follow Lungarno Cellini (street along the river Arno) which will become Lungarno Serristori. At the end of Lungarno Serristori turn right and cross Ponte Alle Grazie (a bridge over the Arno), at the end of the bridge turn left onto Lungarno Generale Diaz which will become Lungarno Archibusieri (While driving you will recognize on your right hand side the famous Uffizi Gallery) and drive up till Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge) where is the beginning of the pedestrian area.
Turn right immediately after you pass Ponte Vecchio and drive up the adjacent side-street and left again up the first street you reach , called Borgo S.S. Apostoli. If you can avoid to reach Florence by car the taxi is the best option at present.

Attention: In order to better manage the urban traffic, telematics doors have been activated in the City Limited Traffic Zones (ZTL). Starting 1st December 2011 the city has introduced a new toll for entering the city Center by car, the Garage will insert the details of your car number plate in the computer system and you will pay this toll when leaving the Garage on your check-out date.
